Services
Transverse Networks provides the appropriate technologies, facilities, and personnel for cost-effective media production and distribution. We will be happy to assist you with any of the following: Webcasts & Webinars
Webcasts are live events delivered to the audience over the internet. They can be audio-only or incorporate full-motion video, and can be archived for later on-demand viewing. Webcasts can be customized with a number of options: Registration forms - collect any information you desire from your audience, such as email and physical addresses, age range, etc. Interactive elements - allow audience participation through real-time question submission and polling / voting with the results kept private or displayed to the audience. Exit polls can be created to determine the overall effectiveness of your event. Enhancements - Flash animation and video windows, PowerPoint presentation windows, widgets, and links to documents and web pages can be pushed out to the audience. Data collection - All registration data, question submissions, and poll information is collected and provided to you for later followup. The applications are almost limitless -- distance learning, global seminars (Webinars), product training, and entertainment can be presented while valuable information and feedback is obtained from your audience. Live Television
We originate live video from Starstruck Studios using Vyvx, a switched fiber transmission system with access to all of the broadcast and cable networks, major market television stations, post-production houses, and teleports. Starstruck's convenient Music Row location allows our guests in Nashville to appear on virtually any television program. Tape feeds are available for distributing music videos, exclusives, and breaking news. Satellite Media Tours
Uplinking the television signal to a satellite allows almost unlimited distribution. This is the backbone of a Satellite Media Tour, where interviews are granted to a number of television stations and news outlets in succession. SMTs are suitable for almost any type of promotion and can be easily customized to reach a target audience. A "Tour Launch" SMT would schedule interviews with network entertainment reporters and the local television stations in the tour-stop cities, all on the day tickets go on sale. Radio Tours are often incorporated into SMTs. Radio Tours
Similar to the above, but no satellite service is required. Interviews are conducted with a number of radio stations in succession, with audio connections established using high-quality telephone hybrids or ISDN. Ideal for CD releases and tour promotion. ISDN
ISDN is an international digital telephone service which can be used to transmit high-quality stereo audio in real time. It is used extensively for radio work, including narrations, voiceovers, and interviews. Recording studios can be linked using multiple ISDN circuits for even higher quality. This provides live, real-time interaction between producers and artists anywhere in the world, saving time and travel. Videoconferencing over ISDN allows face-to-face or multisite video communications, which can be used to enhance remote production or to conduct business meetings and legal proceedings. Transverse Networks provides standard MPEG equipment for radio work, the multi-line DolbyFax system for recording studio and film work, and videoconferencing equipment for use over ISDN or high-speed internet connections. Radio Broadcasts
ISDN is the prefered method for connecting live concerts and specials to individual radio stations or network satellite uplinks. We orignate live broadcasts from Nashville's major concert venues, recording studios, and numerous clubs. In locations where ISDN is unavailable we can provide location recording and post production services for delayed broadcast. |
